Themed weddings seem to be rising in popularity from Star Trek to previous decades to romantic fairy tale wedding. Sometimes it is about celebrating your past and looking forward to the future and other times it is simple about a style or colour you love.
Whether it is adding some glitz to your reception or giving you a unique dress to wear, it is something to consider. Simple themes include decorating with a theme, say butterflies. In this case you could have butterflies on the invites, table decoration, room decoration, etc.
Of course the biggest boldest theme is need for a Las Vegas wedding… but I draw the line at dressing up as Elvis!

Well, roses are still hugely popular, especially classic, traditional creamy white and ivory coloured kinds.

The newly weds stroll hand in hand down the golden sands. The bride looks glorious in her wedding dress and gazes deeply into her mans eyes before they start to recreate famous movie scenes rolling in the surf and sand. The dress looks a mess but the wedding photos are inspired and unique.

For one bride the thought of being responsible for generating 17 tonnes of green house gas emissions was too much. Increasingly couples are considering ways of reducing the carbon footprint of their wedding. From having a hemp based wedding dress to arranging for the guests to car share. IN two weeks, Sally Whitelaw will say "I do". When she found her wedding would be responsible for 17 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions, she said: "I don’t".
So began 10 months of search for the ultimate eco-friendly wedding.
